The EcoGen 2010 conference is set to be the clean energy event of the year, bringing together the highest levels of the clean energy industry, locally and internationally.
The EcoGen 2010 conference will be held from 5-8 September at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre and seeks to tackle the issues facing the clean energy industry, and find the solutions.
Dr Mark Diesendorf will be speaking between 3–4:30 on Day One of EcoGen 2010, 6 September.
Dr Mark Diesendorf is currently Deputy Director of the Institute of Environmental Studies, University of New South Wales.
Previously he was a Principal Research Scientist in CSIRO, a senior lecturer in human ecology at ANU and then Professor of Environmental Science at University of Technology Sydney.
He is author or co-author of several national and state greenhouse/energy scenario studies, including ‘A Clean Energy Future for Australia’ (2004), and ‘Paths to a Low-Carbon Future: Reducing Australia’s greenhouse gas emissions by 30 per cent by 2020’ (2007).
His most recent books are ‘Greenhouse Solutions with Sustainable Energy’ and ‘Climate Action: A campaign manual for greenhouse solutions’, both published by UNSW Press.
